Details of Lunar New Year Holiday Schedule 2025
According to the official announcement, the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday will be extended 7 consecutive days, starting from Thursday, January 29, 2025 (December 27) arrive Wednesday, February 5, 2025 (5th day of Tet).
Specific break schedule for each work block
- State sector: Official 5 days off, combined with 2 weekend days to make 7 consecutive days.
- Business block: Depending on the unit, most employees will be off from January 29 to February 5. Please check the holiday schedule with the HR department to arrange work appropriately.
- Students: The break usually starts earlier, from January 26, 2025 (Monday, December 23), creating conditions for students and families to prepare for Tet.
